Im a guy & want a tattoo that deals with music. Is the inside of both my ankles too feminine?

I was thinking about getting a treble clef on the inside of one ankle, and a bass clef on the other ankle. Is that ok or is there a way to make it more masculine or another place on my body to get it??

That wouldnt be too feminine, but i would say get it on your calves or the back of your arms instead

Why not on your wrists? I think it may be a bit feminine to get it on the ankles, but then again, it’s just that I’ve not seen a guy’s ankles tattooed. Maybe you’ll start a trend!

Anyway, I think on the inside of the wrists would be neat. Music rocks! m/

Nah, its too feminine. Have one of them on your right upper back, like next to ur shoulder blade.

The overall idea of the tattoo is great. The location depends on a lot of things, probably one of the most important being how often/easily you want the tattoos exposed. I have a tattoo of a wing on the outside of my ankle with song lyrics on the top of my foot that go with the wing symbol. I get a lot of compliments on it. I think if the tattoo is done in a very strong/bold/masculine way, the inside of the ankle would be fine. Just be prepared, when they start tattooing near the back of your ankle (where the achilles tendon is), it doesn’t feel pleasant.

YES!!!!!…it looks gay ..maybe you should get it on the outside of your ankles it’ll be better or maybe on your caves or on your shoulder like dark sharp edged music notes..and just to tell you it should not be treble clef that looks gay…sorry…just answering your question….

I don’t see that as being feminine but I think it would look better on the outside of either ankle – just a preference really :) If you’re worried about placement maybe your forearms, behind each ear, shoulder blades or hip bones could be places to consider? I don’t think that wrists would be such a great idea though, I feel that’s a very feminine place to get a tattoo and it’s harder to cover up if you need to for a job or something.

I’ve seen images on the internet of a treble and bass clef combined together, which might open up some more ideas of placement for you? Inbetween shoulder blades, back of neck for example?

as long as you dont get butterflies andpixie fairies its not too feminine tattoos in general make people look tougher even if its a heart, or w/e
get what you want not what you think other people will like

As long as you like it you should go with it. Go to an artist you trust, and the artist will let you know what looks best as far as the way your image blends with a particular part of your body.
